Children's Ministry

Mission Statement

  • Children are a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:3)
  • We recognize and affirm that parents have the God-given responsibility to guide their children in the knowledge of and love of God (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
  • It is our desire to assist parents, with God's help, in teaching the Bible and Biblical concepts (Acts 20:27)
  • We seek to live and teach God's love through Jesus Christ so that children will come to know, love, and serve God in all of their lives (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; 30:6).
  • The Children's Ministry is a vital aspect of The Oaks Baptist Church
