Worship is the centerpiece of all that takes place at The Oaks. In corporate worship, we gather as one body to uplift the name of our Lord. Our response to God's revelation in worship is to scatter to serve in the community at large. Visit the Listen Page to hear sermons, special music and choral anthems. The goal of each worship service is to be God-centered, God-focused. With that in mind, every detail of worship is carefully and prayerfully planned. Music, scripture, prayer and the spoken word are woven together to reinforce the central truth for each Sunday. There is a deliberate effort to involve both clergy and laity as worship leaders, representing a cross-section of the congregation without restriction of gender or age.

Worship Style and Schedule*

While staying true to a very traditional model for worship, contemporary elements are freely incorporated alongside liturgical ones. Every service includes the singing of hymns accompanied by piano and organ, as well as a choral anthem. We believe that uniting around a traditional worship service brings harmony to who we are and who we serve.
