Reverend Josh Hughes
Pastor Rev. Josh began serving as Pastor in the summer of 2008. He is a graduate of Mercer University and McAfee School of Theology. He and his wife, Ginger, are the proud parents of a baby daughter, Ella Grace. Josh enjoys the outdoors, reading and all things UGA.

Dr. Brad Green
Minister of Music Dr. Brad Green is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas; Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas; and Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. He and his wife, Lucy, are parents of sweet six year old Maggie. Brad enjoys cooking/grilling, traveling and writing music.

Ms. Christina Trowell
Youth Intern Christina was raised in Waycross, GA and recently graduated with her Bachelor of Music Education from Brewton-Parker College. She has been the youth intern at The Oaks since June 2010. Christina loves to spend time outdoors fishing and swimming and she also enjoys any musical activity she can be a part of. Her favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”

Mrs. Jane Rahn
Minister to Children Mrs. Rhan grew up Valdese, North Carolina and has been married to Rev. Al Rahn for 47 years. She has an Associate's degree from Wingate College and a Bachelor of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has worked in church ministry as a youth director, children’s director and many different jobs in between for more than twenty years. A charter member of The Oaks, Jane is an avid stamp collector, member of the Georgia Philatelic Society and collects laundry irons dating back to the early 1800s.

Mrs. Jackie Creel
Administrative Assistant Mrs. Jackie Creel is a native of Columbia, Alabama. She has over 21 years of experience serving churches in Alabama, Florida and Georgia, having spent seven of those as the Education Secretary at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama. Mrs. Creel became the administrative assistant of The Oaks in 2007. She enjoys gardening and spending time with friends.

Mrs. Wanda Delk
Pianist Mrs. Wanda Delk began playing the piano in church over thirty years ago. She is a medical technologist and the lab manager at Vidalia Medical Associates. Wanda and Don have been married for 32 years. They have one son, Jordan, who is a seaman with the United States Coast Guard, and a daughter, Jenna, who is a student at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Wanda enjoys reading, water sports and cheering for the Georgia Southern Eagles and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Mrs. Cheryl West
Organist Mrs. Cheryl West has studied piano and organ throughout her life. She retired as the organist at First Baptist Church of Lyons after serving for over 35 years. Cheryl is the Dean of General Education and Learning Support at Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia. She enjoys cross-stitch and crochet, and being a new grandmother.
