Rev. K. Christian Burton, Pastor

Picture
Rev. Christian Burton was called as Pastor of The Oaks in May of 2019.  He, and his wife Dana, moved from Jasper, Georgia in search of warmer climate, flatter land, and a friendly church family.  At The Oaks they have found all three!  Christian has served churches in Georgia, Kentucky, and Indiana.  He holds the Master of Divinity degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (1993), the Master of Business Administration degree from Kennesaw State University (1990), and the Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Georgia (1988).  Dana is an educator, and will be teaching 6th grade at Toombs County Middle School.  They have one daughter, Danielle, who is a Marriage and Family Therapist in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  Christian and Dana enjoy running, hiking, reading, and travel.
