Vacation Bible School

The purpose of VBS is to have a comprehensive three days of Bible study, recreation, crafts, missions and games. Typically in June.

Summer Reading Program

For the whole family. This program is promoted through the library. It rewards children for books read followed by a rewards program at the end.
Runs all summer long.

Back to School Party

This is a pool party held at a private residence. It usually includes a luau with swimming, games and a devotional time. Typically in August.

Trunk or Treat

This fun event is a time when church members decorate their cars and children trick or treat from the trunks. In order to participate, children bring can goods for the homeless shelter. Also includes a church cook-out. Near Halloween.

Teddy Bear Picnic

A Sunday afternoon of pizza and Ice Cream sundaes followed by games and a nature walk. At 3 pm, tea is served by the adults to the children and their Teddy Bears. Children then return to the church and pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Typically in November.

Christmas Party

Santa visits bringing gifts. The evening includes a meal and concludes with the Christmas story being read. In December.

Souper Bowl Sunday

On Super Bowl Sunday, the church is asked to bring can goods of soup to be donated to our local food pantries. This is led by the Children's Ministry. Typically in February.

Valentine Party

The children share their love for God, family and friends. They work together to make goodies for a local nursing home.

Easter Egg Hunt
& Parade

Children bring bikes, wagons, scooters, etc., decorate them for and participate in a parade. There are games and the Easter story is read. Afterwards, there is an Easter egg hunt and refreshments.
