What impresses God?

Dear church family,
Glad we can chat once again this week. If I'm not careful, this might just become a habit again.

Before I begin in earnest, I want to remind you of two things: first, Trunk or Treat is this Sunday Night at 5:30 P.M. It will be a great time of food and fellowship. Please dress up and be ready to participate with your trunks open and candy to share. Secondly, Nov. 3-5 will be our time of revival. My friend, Dr. Bill Coates, will be our featured speaker. Invite your friends and neighbors to join us at 6:30 P.M. for a wonderful time of worship.

This week, I will be preaching from Luke 18:9-14, The parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector. My sermon title is, What impresses God? Let me tell you this: our ability to impress God has nothing to do with our words or even our deeds, but rather our attitudes.

Come this Sunday morning with with an open mind ready to ponder the question, what impresses God?

Have a great weekend,
Josh
