Sunday School Classes

Sunday School Hours: 9:45-10:45 am
There are three options for Adult Sunday School classes on Sunday mornings. These classes are open to anyone, and all of our teachers work hard to prepare lessons designed to help you grow in your walk with Christ. Before classes start, feel free to join us in the church kitchen for coffee, doughnuts and informal fellowship.

Class Descriptions

Seeds of the Oaks Class - Taught by Rev. Randy Callahan, this class is geared toward younger adults. The age of those attending this class range from 25 to 40.

Cross Roads -Taught by Bruce Frost and John Robinson, this is a wonderful class for median adults. The age of those attending range from 40 to 60.

The Happy Agers -Taught by Rev. Al Rahn, this class is geared toward older adults. The age of those attending this class average 60+.

Mid-Week Bible Study

Bible Study Hours: 6:30-7:30 pm
The Mid-Week Bible Study on Wednesday evenings is informative, yet informal. Rev. Josh Hughes, our pastor, leads us through in-depth studies of the Bible or a topical series. There is always a time of discussion over scripture, and most assuredly, how scripture impacts our lives.

Along with Bible Study, evening activities also include a time of prayer for those hurting in the church, in the community and in the world. The prayer list is updated daily because prayer is an essential part of faith. Please join us for a time of Bible study and prayer. Adult Missions

Men on Missions

The Men on Mission of The Oaks Baptist Church is a group of men committed to serving Jesus Christ in this community. 
We meet once a month for a time of devotion, prayer, planning and food.

Some of the recent projects completed by the MoM are "Feeding the Hungry, Feeding the Soul" where we fed over 500 people and working as escorts at the local blood drives.

We are constantly looking for people and places to serve so let us know if there are needs in the area.

Women on Missions

Women on Mission of The Oaks Baptist Church is a group of women committed to serving Jesus Christ in this community.

Some  of the recent projects  completed by the WoM were the “Bring Your Own Sandwich” fellowship, where we worked on pillows for breast cancer patients. We also provided cookies for educators employed in Toombs County.

Senior Ministry
