About Us

The Oaks Baptist Church is a traditional Baptist church. We are a traditional Baptist church because we value the historic, cherished principles of the Baptist tradition such as religious liberty, the priesthood of believers, local church autonomy, and the authority of the Bible for faith and practice. We are also traditional because of our worship style. We are led in worship by our choir; piano and organ and the singing of hymns is a central aspect of our worship.  The message proclaimed here is one of grace instead of judgement, forgiveness instead of condemnation. The resounding message preached from the pulpit, and from the people is that God loves all people.
